The Goodness and Mercy Missions child sponsorship and Scholarships program has been a story of resilience especially when the crisis erupted in the English Speaking parts of Cameroon. While other activities shut down, we devised means whereby children could continue to receive an education of a kind. We linked up children with individual teachers and when schools resume, we intensified the scholarships and child sponsorship program. From 2018, we have effectively supported more than 200 children and youths in school each year.
The category of children we support are children of parents living with a disability, children living with a disability, orphans, children who have lost the father and children whose parents are unable to support them as a result of the crisis. Our work has paid off and we are glad of the remarkable success.
We continue to thank everyone who supported especially INFA Switzerland that managed more than 100 Scholarships each year, particularly children of parents living with a disability.
We aim at supporting more children in the coming years as we have engaged more partners for the work.
