Through partnerships with the Abiola Family Solar Lamps initiative, INFA Switzerland, and Abiola Academy Germany, Goodness and Mercy Missions has distributed solar lamps and kits to over 400 rural households across Boyo communities, including Ntungfe, Aboh, Tumuku, Juambum, Mentang, Wainchia, Ngwah-Aloin/Fukwas, Bolem-Elih, and Achangne Ngvinabum.

These eco-friendly solutions provide reliable lighting that transforms daily life. Families no longer struggle with the cost and hazards of kerosene lamps or the expense of recharging devices. Children can complete homework and study after dark, directly improving academic performance. Households gain reliable light after sunset, enhancing safety and security. Women can engage in productive work during evening hours, increasing household income. The environmental benefits are equally significant, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and promoting sustainability.

We’ve also equipped reading centers with solar lamps and devices, ensuring students in areas without electricity can continue their studies. Our GMM training centers in Jinkfuin and Fundong now operate on effective solar energy systems, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development.
