OUR WORK
Computer Training
Technology and rural communities
Since launching in 2012 as an Informatik Für Afrika initiative, our Computer Literacy program has graduated hundreds of students, bridging the digital divide in rural Cameroon. What began with basic training in Belo has evolved into two fully equipped training centers in Jinkfuin and Fundong, both powered by solar energy systems donated by INFA Switzerland.
INFA’s unwavering support, even during the crisis in Cameroon’s North West Region when other organizations withdrew, has been transformative. They’ve donated essential desktop and laptop computers, funded the construction of our Jinkfuin computer training center and Fundong multipurpose training facility, and installed effective solar energy systems at both locations. This partnership has created more than just technical skills; it’s opened doors to employment and further education for young people in an increasingly digital world.
Our graduates leave with certifications and the confidence to pursue opportunities in technology, administration, and entrepreneurship that would otherwise remain out of reach.
Support our program expansion by sponsoring computer equipment and directly enhance educational opportunities that empower individuals through technology
