GMM wants to empower women so that they can able to do something to support themselves and their family. This is combating poverty in homes. In the Kom culture women depend just too much on men and if the husband is irresponsible the wife and children are bound to suffer. If the man is negligent about sending the children to school women fold their arms and nothing is done to ameliorate the situation. It is the vision and desire of GMM to empower women into doing something that will aid the family.
